My first attempt..:)

...Where I'm From by Maria...

I am from plain porridge & wine chicken served during dinner,

I am from kids who conquered the hometown,

I am from broken piano that played a broken sound,

discordant voice & rhythms that healed the soul,

uneven dance and steps that were done to impress,

embarassed, shamed, from the eyes of innocence.

I am from Dragonball to Enid Blyton,

I am from sketches of messy lines,

I am from broken red velvet lipstick and blue ocean eyeshadow,

from a cry after the fallen from up the stairs,

from hurdles, cartwheels, sweats and broken veins,

from victories and from defeats,

delights and dissapointments.

uncaring cheerful beam under the rain.

I am from silence and cluttered mind,

I am from trees, colourful flowers and muddy flipflops,

from fluttering butterflies and buzzing bees, to barking puppies,

from teardrops and guilts..

from impossible dreams, to daydreams, and just a dream,

I am from insecurity, but very certain too,

from in-denial childish, yet unknowingly grown up...

I am from never give up, hope, faith and love...

Watched Junior Masterchef Australia...

I was amazed with their ability to cook...what have i done in my younger days....na~da~...nada nada nada....ha ha



I remember wanting to help to clean the dishes...just so that i could play with water and bubbles...that was before i could reach the pipe on the sink....ha ha...i was as innocent as a kid should be....nothing like the cute guys above...they look innocent but....fuhhh they cook like a pro....

The youngest contestant was just 8 y.o....and when i was 8, in primary 2...i wonder if i were even allowed in the kitchen...ha ha.....the only thing that i remember is...when i was in primary school....when i was hungry...i will make myself and everyone pancakes...for my mom...boboi...and the maids... haha....thats the most simple thing i can do i guess...and i did it solo...no one help me *proud**big smile*...:p....hahaha....

but....but my friend...which was a year older than me...cook for her whole family for dinner...so i lost to her...haha....:p nothing to be proud of afterall....:p

p.s.i wonder how their parents teach them to cook and bake....its difficult to make them remember their abc and 123....they must have done the same recipe everynight...
or maybe their kids are just pure genius...and talented...

seek him...rely on him...love him...and then some...

I believe God have great plan for me...and believe that you too have plan from God...

I know even if Im not living in luxury or at least not living my dream, i believe that in the power of God....everything is possible in a blink of an eye...we just cannot see how it works...

Never let anyone tell you that you are not good enough....you might not good enough in what you are doing right now....but you must be good at something....little thing is something...you never know what little things can do for the world....and because of little things you discover bigger things....

You might have the world's biggest problem on your shoulder....but believe that...you will face another day...day by day....and whatever things that cant kill you, will only make you stronger....
Things happen for a reason...or if you cannot find a reason...than things happen, embrace it....and make it your blesses in disguise...embrace good times......and also adversity...then you will appreciate life more, you will see things differently....

God will make a way for u...if only u dont give up when problem knocking on your door...you will see the good things..sometime u dont realise it's happening right in front you....

Be strong...and know that you will always have some one dear close to you...if you dont think anyone loves you...think about those people who needs to be loved...though they are strangers....love from strangers worth everything for them....we human needs one and another no matter how independent you live your life...one person is worth to another person...and then some...

That person who bring you down....they are just the same....too bad that they have to learn in the hard way...but always remember that every living creatures is priceless....and that one is enough to make great things in this world....one is capable to influence if not million...thousand...or whichever way...one is very important to someone....

Cry a little....then remember to pick yourself up....and keep yourself intact....again never let another person make you feel small...you are bigger than your problem...bigger than the person who makes you feel smalll...thanks to them...they make you stronger....and they stay the same...and never change because of their own ignorance....

Be thankful for everything in your life....be strong...seek him in everything you do...keep him close to your heart....pray...

Of course I dont have God's imagination, or God's ability to visualise the world in advance...
But I do have imagination...which require me to dream of certain places such as MY DREAM HSE....and MY DREAM LAND where my hse is going to be build....

but too bad...they are just dreamm...and I hope someday it will become reality...
but for now lets just dream...

p.s. I love INCEPTION...gonna watch it again...because i dont understand the whole story...

Someday, if God's willing, i will grow old....

and when i am old...i may have problems with my body...i may have walking difficulties...or hearing difficulties...i may not speak as clear...or laugh at your jokes...

I will grow tired as time flies, wrinkled and sagged and not as young, and may be less desirable..not as cheerful..not as fit as i am today...

Someday...There will be moree beautiful girls...and i might envy them for their youthfulness...and i may be tripple more insecure...and paranoid...

And someday, i may not be able to stay out long enough without feeling the coldness of the night seeping into my bone which will hurt tripple more...I wont have the energy i have today...

I may loss a tooth or two..my eyesights may not be as clear...long and shortdistance...I may have little hair by then...who knows...but knowing these...of course i will try my best to keep up...


But it will be the same with you Love, whoever u are....that someday...u may have the same issues...We....human... will grow old...

and we, will not be as lovestruck as before...not as innocent...not as desireble...
But one thing i am sure of...growing old with someone u love from the moment u said your vow...is one of the most satisfying thing to achieve in this world....because u know u can count on that person.u know so much about that person inside out...good and bad...through tough times and those haapppy times...u have bittersweet memories to remind each other...to laugh and to cry together...

And I hope very much...that this kind of love does exist...the kind of love that will last forever...i may sound foolish...i hope im not.

Here's a simple question...

Lets say strawberry is your utmost favorite fruit....

and this is not just an ordinary strawberry, but a rare strawberry, its very rare that u only get to eat it once in a lifetime.....well actually it depends... this particular strawberry is your priority...the 1 crucial thing u want in life and never let go.....this strawberry could be the love of your life, money, career, your dream, ur family...something that is very important or dear to your heart and soul...

would you eat the cake first and put the strawberry aside or the other way round?

Of course, everyone will say yes to strawberry...
but at times....because u want to savour the best part at the end...u delay eating the strawberry...wanting the climax to be at the end of whatever ends...

such as...U know that guy/girl is the best thing that could happen in your life...but somehow, u keep whatever u feel inside...because U dont want to have that kind of commitment yet....Or maybe u dont want to mess up and lose him/her...so in result...u find comfort from other people or other places....maybe its easier...who knows...

Or...U know U want that job...but because its too early, and your XP is not up to that level yet...and that U want to experience other things just to make sure before you go for the one thing u really want to do in life...in result U find other jobs to obtain more skill and experience...and the strawberry job is under KIV tray....

Or maybe...U want to get married...and have a family...but U want to have a stable career first...before building your family...just to make sure that U dont have to worry about your family future in terms of financial....so U dont propose to her, simply because U want to give your family the best in life...

Its all depends...but whatever your strawberry is...It keeps on changing with times...
due to influence ..people U met...events...things U do...just about everything...

now the simple question become more complicated...
so what would U eat first?
Strawberry? perhaps the cake?

whichever u take first...U have your reason..

and I hope it is a reasonable one...

I know at times...THAT strawberry is a bit intimidating...y not? It could CHANGE one's life...maybe thats Y so many including me, afraid to pick and consume that strawberry first....

but Y do we have to be afraid...If it is a constructive strawberry, then Y not? If thats what U want, then Y not?

For me, I see clearer now...I have my answer.

Back at home...I used to be one of the cook...and Oh U have no idea how I despise cooking...even to think about cooking makes me sick and tired...oo u know y...i dont know how to cook so...i cannot just cook fried eggs or maggie soup aka sup tarajun whenever its my turn...org kata x kretiviti langsung...


And now, after watching too many cooking show...I can say I lurrvveee cooking...but of course I believe this is just a temporary mood....because once im back to the kitchen i will hate it all over again...I just hate to think and plan what to cook especially when i cannot cook what i want to...its just frustrating...and all I can cook is...*sigh* the same recipe over and over again...but if u ask a pro..the chef with the big white head...I will say...they will always come out with a new recipe...Neway, these are the people who makes me drooling ~,~ every time watching them working in the kitchen....

What I love about him is that...he justttt love using lotsa lotsa lotsssa herbs and spices in whatever he is cookinggg....and lotttssa cheeseeeeessss.....yummiliciousss..

& i just cannot help but to wait for his unconscious reactions, if u really observe every movement he made, u 'll notice him scratchin' his head or diggin' his ear with his finger while marinating the poultry or whatever he's doing....but u dont see that alot anymore with his new show...haha..too badd..
