Kelvin: Winner of MNet’s Big Brother Revolution

RECENTLY, Kevin Chuwang Pam, who hails from Jos, the Plateau State capital, walked triumphantly out of the Big Brother House to the deafening shouts that heralded his re-entry into the world he left behind 91 days earlier. He had just been named winner of MNet’s Big Brother Revolution.

The 27-year-old entertainer and graduate of English Language from the University of Jos, was chosen by the continent after outlasting 24 other housemates and winning 45 per cent of the total votes cast across the whole of Africa to claim the $200,000 prize.

Voted ‘Most Sociable’ in the university, Kevin’s role model is his father because “he is principled.”

The Jos boy was the most popular housemate in the most countries, claiming 11 country votes from Botswana, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Mozambique, Nigeria, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Zimbabwe and the Rest of Africa) against two for Emma (Angola and South Africa), and one apiece for Edward (Namibia) and Mzamo (Malawi), while Nkenna couldn’t claim a victory in any of the participating countries.

The show had kicked off with IK abseiling into the garden before hip-hop group, Fresh performed in front of a packed studio audience. The 20 evicted housemates then joined him on stage in a stunning parade of colour as they waved their national flags. After a review of the first 30 days in the house, the evicted housemates performed a special dance paying homage to Michael Jackson – as they did so successfully during their “Thriller” task.

A Manchester United fan whose hobbies include rapping, Kevin would like travel to Hollywood to see a movie in the making there.
The simple and short with guts guy says he will spend his money on creating an entertainment empire and will share some of it with friends and family who have stood by him.

His favourite food is pounded yam. He also likes chicken and chips, while actors he admires are Jim Carrey and Martin Lawrence.
His good relationship and sterling leadership qualities have earned him a place in the hearts of fellow housemates and viewers across Africa.

Clips From The 2009 Ovation Red Carol.

The 2009 Ovation Red Carol lived up to its promise to be a carnival of red red red and... more red. It was an opportunity to make style statement... even in the loud, boisterous romantic red -- in all its shades.
The red spirit of the season not only dominated, but marked out the significance of the night’s attire, as celebrities, fashionistas, journalists and shakers of the society gathered in different shades of the colour to impress.

Dressed in stunning outfits such as spaghetti, empire, sleeveless and halter neck among others made with fabrics such as satin, ankara, cotton, taffeta and mercury, they walked the runway leaving lasting sensual impression.
Colours were extensively used, but the most visible and lively of all was red, which created a strong aura of love and excitement.
The fashionistas with their naturally image of excitement, energy, enthusiasm and confidence were pleasant to behold.
Davina, a new rec ording artiste, however, stood out, strutting the carpet in a very thrilling red, blue and yellow ankara combination.

The event, which held at the Expo Hall, Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos, lived up to its billing. It was not just a night filled with musical entertainment and comedy, it was also an avenue to give hope to the less-priviledged in the society: people living in poverty; the people Wish for Africa are serving through its low-cost medical centres in Mafoluku, Ketu and Alagbado!

A donation of N1 million was given to Wish for Africa at this glamorous event to support the various projects of the Charity!
The event was co-sponsored by UBA and the Lagos State government

Hopes for 2010

2009 is so over...now here we are, welcoming and embracing a brand new year 2010...

*ding!*dong!*ding!*dong!*ding!*dong!*ding!*dong!*

Alot of exciting things happen...

*ding!*dong!*ding!*dong!*ding!*dong!*ding!*dong!*

until the clock stroke 12...then our mind activated...all the things we have done in 2009 flashed in nano seconds...something inside u, felt completely wrong, u felt so down despite the loud music, laughing people, happy people around u...something weighted your back...u smiled but u were not really smiling ...u laughed but it didnt show in your eyes...not in your soul...

U felt such a loser,

a failure...

Now, stop feeling that way peeps...this is new year! goodness sake!...

new hope, new energy, new clothes, new shoes, new whatever-new you have, new resolution...

Speaking about 'new year resolution', have u done yours? Of course even if u dont practise setting a list of goals, its not wrong to at least have 5 goals...I suggest U to try *winks*, should be fun...especially when u checked one or two, small or big goals....u can try a small one if u dont believe in this...Dont be skeptic...Just be positive okay?...

For me, I've done my 2010 resolution..

so fast?
yaa..fastt....

revised resolution from last year oneee, changed abit here and there...checked missions completed and added some more...and there, WALA! A new set of revised new year resolution...
But i ammm soo not going to publish it here...HAHA...

Okay, maybe just a few...

One, to read more motivational books...at leassttt 5...do u know, its very hard to even finish 2 if u have alot more non-motivational books to read....

two, learn guitar, ive been trying my best to learn by myself, but attempt failed...maybe i just dont have the talent...but lets just give one more try...let the pro do their work and make me a guitarist...but where? well..i have 12 mths to figure that out...or at least 6 mths...hmmm..

next, grooming?
ooo have i told u about this one...xD~~hahah..yeay...
sometimes i feel so plastic that i stop grooming...besides the maintenance is high...oh damn...but at least im not as shyyy like i once were...guess whatttt..i bought a blue eyeliner yesterday and a pencil sharpener for my blackeyeliner...haha...
small things matters, little things matters...
so stop 'DUH-ing'

and what else, oh ya
of course...SAVING...never enough...i think 'saving will never be 'crossed out' from my goal list...one..simply because the figure is never bigg enough...two,because i will use it anyway...but i try to be discipline ok....argghhh..but i want to save for dslr...mmm...there i go again...

lastly...to earn more from this blog...guess 2009 is not a good year for my blog...but i will try to update more...something more personal this time...i hope...

whatever personal is...
